Established in 2006, AZ Traction Flooring is a company that delivers the highest levels of professionalism, integrity and honesty in every relationship we establish. Our experience in the installation of slip-resistance floors is proven to aid in the prevention of slips, trips and falls. Our scope of work includes performing walkway audits for validating the Coefficient OF Friction of your floors. We continuously search out opportunities to further our education, by means of attending seminars, training courses, and conferences that are specific to slip, trip, and fall prevention . We are dedicated to working with our customers to identify their root causes for slips, trips, falls and carefully develop strategies to mitigate your risk and exposure for slip, trip, and, fall hazards.

Over 14yrs of Experience

• Successfully expanded into much larger projects and industries.

• Member of the new NFSI B101.14 subcommittee to develop a Forensic Science standard for investigating of slip, trip, and, fall cases.

• I’m a voting member of the American Society of Testing Materials. ASTM is the organization that is responsible for developing standards for walkway surfaces and footwear.

• Guest Presenter - SCIP - Specifications Consultants in Independent Practice - 2023 Annual Conference “The Process of Specifying Slip Resistance Floors“ AIA Course SCIP2023-PC E1, CSI-E.

• Successfully completed a walkway auditor safety specialist training program specific to measuring the Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF) of hard-surface walkways.

• Worked with an epoxy coating manufacturer to measure the Coefficient OF Friction of their floor coating products.

• Presenter at the Arizona Department of Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety summits on floor maintenance and best practices that and in the prevention of slip, trip and falls on hard surfaces.

• Advisory Council Member for Arizona State University Del E. Webb School of Construction in Indian Country.
